Dr. Veniamin to Give Keynote Addresses at Orthodox Homeschooling Conference at Antiochian Village

Dr. Christopher Veniamin, Professor of Patristics at St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in South Canaan PA and President of Mount Thabor Publishing, will deliver the Keynote Addresses at the St. Emmelia Orthodox Homeschooling Conference at the Antiochian Village, from 27 through 30 March, 2014.

Professor Veniamin will give two presentations and lead a workshop based on his newly-released publication, The Orthodox Understanding of Salvation:-

The first Keynote Address, Friday, March 28, 8:00 – 9:00pm: “The Orthodox Understanding of Salvation: ‘Theosis’ in St. Silouan the Athonite and Elder Sophrony of Essex.”
The Second Keynote Address, Saturday, March 29, 7:30 – 8:30pm: “The Orthodox Interpretation of Holy Scripture: St. Gregory Palamas and the Key to Understanding the Bible.”
Workshop Session 5A, Saturday, March 29, 2:00 – 3:00pm: “The Power of Repentance: The Ethos of ‘Metanoia’ in the Orthodox Tradition.”
